All these elements make for a unique red wine, shouting sense of place, true to terroir.
The Eleanor – Chardonnay | 2023
Bright lemon notes, yellow apples, and a hint of toastiness introduce this expressive Chardonnay. The palate is beautifully creamy on entry, balanced by a crisp, lingering finish. Flavours of ripe yellow apple carry through, lifted by a touch of gooseberry tartness. A stalwart of top South African Chardonnays, with the promise of even greater complexity over time.
The Mackenzie – Bordeaux Style | 2021
Enticing aromas of blackberries, fynbos, and a hint of dark chocolate on the nose. The palate showcases vibrant blackcurrants and raspberries, layered with smoky undertones. A plush, enveloping texture is balanced by fine, grippy tannins, culminating in a long, satisfying finish - a true masterclass in the craft of blending.
The Megan – Rhône Style Red Blend | 2019
Enchanting perfumed florals and notes of violet, intertwined with sweet spice and the deep allure of black fruit and underbrush on the nose. The palate unveils a silky-smooth and elegant character, revealing savoury and smokey undertones. Hints of tobacco and luscious mulberry mingle with blackberries, all harmoniously supported by well-integrated, ultra-fine tannins.
The Stork – Shiraz | 2020
A deep ruby red with tinges of purple, revealing ripe cherries intertwined with rich tobacco on the bouquet. The palate is beguilingly smooth with juicy tannins that unfold into a long, lingering finish. Blackcurrant flavours are laced with a whisper of fine white pepper. Outstanding now but destined to evolve beautifully with time.
